Rachel Tilseth, the founder of Wolves of Douglas County Wisconsin, heard me on Wisconsin Public Radio on Thursday to discuss the launch of The Declaration Project, and was moved to then post about it on her blog.
Firs Rachel notes that it’s “become full time work to protect wolves and wildlife,” and she attributes to the fact that “professional politicians are ignoring the will of the people.” But after listening to the program, she proclaims in bold letters, “There is hope!”
And she points to our project, which she says is “working to keep the founding principles of our democratic system alive.”
To Rachel, the Declaration Project is all “about citizenship and how we all make this nation great.” Couldn’t agree more. Now I need to urge her to post a declaration in MyDeclaration.
